Fresno County Sheriff's Department and HIGHWAY PATROL

The California Highway Patrol helicopter (H-42) was used for a total of approximately 2.5 hours, at no cost to our agency. If we had to pay for helicopter service, the average cost would be $500 per hour.
The total cost of the 442.1 man hours was approximately $8,969.17.
These diving operations were on a County wide basis and included lakes, rivers and canals.
